With a combined experience of over 150 years passed down through generations, co-founders James Steffens and Robin Cornett bring a wealth of expertise, dedication, and craftsmanship to every project.

Who We Are

James Steffens, with a background in business management, handyman services, and graphic design, ensures the day-to-day operations of Seven Gables run smoothly, while always keeping a finger on the pulse of the latest trends in green building technologies.

Robin Cornett is a master craftsman who has been immersed in the construction industry for over 30 years. Growing up surrounded by generations of skilled builders, Robin has honed his craft to become a leading expert in structural repairs, historic preservation, and high-grade finish work. His experience ensures that every project is completed with the highest standards of craftsmanship.

Both James and Robin are proud fathers and deeply committed to their families, which reinforces their understanding of the importance of creating homes that families can grow into and enjoy for years to come.
